Building Description
The castle sits majestically at the top of Chapultepec hill. The light colored stone with sturdy columns support the castle terraces. This enhances the structural stability and visually. The columns stretches horizontally across the hill creating huge courtyards and terraces. The towers are vertically emphasized and thick. Arched windows of varying sizes and decorative balconies break the mass of the walls, creating a rhythmic and elegant pattern. Wide stone staircases connect the terraces, emphasizing the castle’s layered, stepped form. Roofs are covered in traditional clay tiles, complementing the castles historic and timeless aesthetic.
